emo.poser.whatever.

I can't believe that I'm going to blog something about this..

OK, lets get this over with...

I've been listening to my "mahiwagang baul of songs", which is immensely crowded already.. just imagine, I have 1500+ songs in my playlist.. and they use 4GB of memory..
and another fact, the I still didn't include my classic songs and drum relays.. tsk...

I really have to burn them now...
Yeah, so I was saying...
Oh, You know, there are many classes under the kingdom of "posers".. and, I will focus on the music class because, these species are the ones who we see often.

I have told "someone" about this matter, which I think he/she already forgot about it..

Music is a virtue, its life, its everything.. Its an important part of human/animal existence..
Hmmmm.. I think I'll say that all living things devour music, whether they are talking candelabras or evil trees.

And as I say that music is human existence, there comes the "individuality" of music..
I mean, in some way, music has classifications based on country, singer/artist, melody, tune, instruments used.. and so much more..

so everyone can conclude that 2 songs has at least one similarity.
This similarity also applies with the people who listen to those songs..
Well, during my elementary days, I'm proud to say that I'm addicted to songs already.. Maybe because my mom is an addict.
Unlike most babies who have nursery lullabies, I've been listening to the radio already.. My mom would use blank tapes and record songs from the radio and she will play them again and again until I'm asleep.

That's an early start for a music addict, don't you think..?

So by the time I studied in school, I've been listening to underground alternative rock, powerpop, with a mix of hip hop..
HIP HOP..?! mainly because I hang out with guys and they're into breakdancing..(I'm a guy during my elementary days..)
One time, I was singing Behind those eyes by 3 doors down and no one even knows it.. I mean.. Its a great song, how come no one knows it..?

I just kept this obsession with myself..
Until I came across jazz.
I don't know, but I think it was late grade5 times when I became addicted to it..
I remember its because I saw an indie movie with jazz soundtrack.. So I immediately loved it..

but then, I have no one to talk to.. I mean, no one shares my flare about songs.. literally..
So I gave up my jazz thing and went back to alternative rock and power pop..

I continued to listen to these genres.. especially the early songs of Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional
woah, until the world started to notice Fall Out Boy, my Chemical Romance, etc... (finally!)
forgive me, but I think Fall Out Boy's exposure caused many "nobody's" to turn to "somebody's" and, eventually "everybody"..
well, a new kingdom of mortals was born.

Everyone started learning the guitars, drums, keyboards.. wow!
no, there's nothing wrong with that, I think, because making music is better than "wearing" music.

Oh, its painful, to think that most people switched to extremely loose jerseys to ultra skinny jeans and chuck taylor's
Here's some samples of the species we call, emo and their role in the ecosystem.

Grabe. Naghihirap na nga sila (see background) pero emo pa rin!

LABO.

Hey! Lets look at it in the positive side. Many music lovers started to feel "they belong", and the history of the world wrote another page of interesting facts. For once in a million years, it seemed like BEING ALONE AND MISERABLE is COOL. And a handful of people "found" themselves being emo, and considered it not only as a state of mind and fashion but also their "individuality". We witnessed the evolution of art, clothing, colors, literature style, instruments, make-up, new language, humor, chemical formulas, etc..
Here's some samples of the beauty behind emo.

Well..
Its so amazing yet, nerve-cracking..
Its great that I can freely say..
That I'm proud to be a TRUE POSER.

04-25-08

In less than 2 weeks, my review will finally start.
Hell. Its just like yesterday I'm too excited to take them. Now, I'm trying so hard to aviod thinking about it, because I don't want to go..

I just realized, I have done nothing progressive this month, except for reading countless novels and stuff.

So I started this gimmick. I even bought the expensive Yellow Cab ice cream just to get a metal container.. (mall rats know what it looks like.)
OK, I used my little sister's mini memo.. You know, the little notepads you get from party bags in birthday parties.. and listed random household chores in it..
I'll just state some.. So you can relate better.

1) wash car.
2) dust bookshelves.
3) learn how to iron your uniform without burning them. (haha.)
4) wash Papa's heavy pants/jeans. (argh! so painful!)
5) clean bathroom.

and wrote them in paper and put them inside the container.. Like a "palabunutan".
So everyday, I have to do a random household shitty stuff.

Well, this sounded like hell for almost all teenagers during summer.. Heheheh.. I admit, it sounded pretty afflictive to me.
So I also wrote some "free day" strips.. Mainly that's because I love myself so much and I would cry to see myself suffer from the sadist hands of OUR HOUSE.

Let's change topic.
I'm currently reading Anne Rice's Memnoch the Devil.
I'm enjoying it from the bottom of my sleepless mind. Hahahhahhahahha!
Well, I can imagine myself reading so much of it so I did. And I spent one whole night doing it. I just stopped when I realized its sunrise. Good thing, I don't have a quiz that day so I can sleep in class. (uhmmm.. figuratively.)
Anyway, I will read The Vampire Armand that Aura lent me.. OK, at first, I just bought Memnoch the Devil so that I can understand Aura's book better.. I'm so excited to read Aura's book because she was raving about countless things making love in the book.
But then, I love the book I'm reading right now. With Lestat's irresistible charm and humor, the book's just incredible.. Lestat's character is, for me, the best part of the series because he's a natural storyteller.. =)

Yeah, I almost forgot!
I was being a mall rat (again) yesterday when this book caught my eye. Well, I've been dreaming to read about this book because I've seen the movie(s) about it.
I know its unfortunate to watch the movie before reading the book itself but I just can't stop myself. I will have misconceptions on the book, but I guess there's no harm in trying..
Its JRR Tolkien's The Fellowship of the Ring.

OK.. Let's explore the vast world and think of something weird, I guess..
Time for my Philosophies/Questions!

1) Only TWO things make a hero: Sacrifice and Death.

2) What sin is not pardonable?

3) Justice is only one man's idea.

4) Some people live even after they die. But most people are not living before they die.

5) Evil is an abstract thing. So as Good.

Hey, keep hitting me! (I mean the blog views.)

DEATH NOTE

I've never been so addicted my whole damn life..

Its cute, this anime.. I mean, everything's exciting.. unpredictable..
you just have to check it out..

04-22-08

Hi, everyone!
its been a while... so cool that I can feel its summer now..

weird..

OK.. I was thinking another topic today.. And then my brother, Miguel, came up to me and asked me..
"ate, sino ang tatay ni Joselito Jr...?"
I have no idea.. Hahhahahha!

Then he answered, " eh di si Joselito Sr..!" hahahahahha!
real funny..

now I'm thinking, its about time I stop raving on how I'm enjoying my summer alone..
My family's there.. and I have to give them some recognition..
I have to focus with my siblings, of course, because I know my parents would hate to learn that I blogged about them anyway..

OK, I have 4.. now 5 siblings.. That would be considered a HUGE family for most people..
But, unlike them, I learned to accept the fact that deep inside, I want to have more.
(shit. I'm crying like hell.)

When I learned my mom will have another child, I was.. damn furious.. Maybe I should be. I just can't help it. When I learned about my mom's pregnancy, we were discussing "overpopulation" in our Social Studies class. (hell just broke loose.)

Then, my mom started to ignore me. As if my seat's vacant during dinner time.. And when I'm playing with my sister in the living room, my mom would say that maybe I didn't really love my sister at all.
It broke my heart. Like, I love my siblings like hell. I can't imagine life without them. Maybe it wouldn't be a life at all if I'm alone..
So I finally showed my mom that I'm sorry..
Whatever.. Fuck overpopulation.
I would just kill as many people as I can so the country would loosen up. (I mean that)

About my brothers, they're the best. I know. having two wrestlers in the house is an advantage. I mean, they an carry heavy loads, you can punch them and they would laugh. And they have this talent for jokes that even the Presidency would cry laughing.

One time, my dad took them to site and he promised them he will take them to Timezone.. (you know elementary kids.. right?)
But they came home immediately. My brothers were furious. They cried like hell.
They argued with my tired daddy.

"Ikaw kasi eh! Sabi mo pupunta tayo dun! Sinungaling ka! PINUPUTOL MO ANG SAYA NAMIN!!!"
" Oo nga, namumutol ka ng saya! Hindi na SAYA, "AYA" na lang!!!"

My parents went laughing!
Tsk.. Sick children.

And then, sometimes, you would just laugh at how they fight each other. They would just wrestle each other, and punch and kick each other. You can hear their bones tick and break. Then they would laugh. Obviously, me, as a sister, would join them. I don't know. Its just amazing that I have two bodyguards when I grow older.

There's also a time when they would joke about Tito Sotto..
Like, ano kayang tawag ng pamangkin ni Tito Sotto sa kanya..? Tito Tito..? Uncle Tito..?

ahahahhahahah! hilarious.. Really.

Next, my two babies, Abby and Schoooiieii.. So cute. Beyond words.. Especially when I make them cry for hell because I hug them too tightly.. That's why when I tell someone that a family without babies is not a family at all.. Its actually an UNDERSTATEMENT..

I know, I'll be hated by those family planning weirdos.. But hell, not that I disagree with them.. They have a point..
But if the parents can really afford to have children, and raise them as citizens, then why stop them? Its love that matters.. And love is both reason and result.

04-12-08

Good day!!!

Can't blog about anything extreme today..
Except,
I cut the tip of my middle finger while chopping tomatoes..
I'm "demoted" into reading young adult books.. Ehem.. Its Hardy Boys.
I hate Aura. Hahahhaha! She got her hands on another Anne Rice novel, The Vampire Armand, first..
I'm so excited.. I want to start my review classes already...

OK. Now you get it. Another random post. Another feast of my revelations..

1) Some questions don't have any answers. But then, I think more answers still don't have questions.

2) Every two things has something between them.

3) Neutrality is weakness.

4) Build to break. Break to build.

5) Live life without regret.

6) I think, the world will never stop spinning. And if you're someone who doesn't move with it, the world will soon get rid of you.

7) Excessive simplicity makes complication.

8) More color makes stains.

04-10-08

Its April 10..!

As I type this entry, Its like a desert outside..
Even more, the huge tree that shields my bedroom window from the shitty rays of the sun was cut.

What a shame.

I hate these. I can't see my neighborhood as a "resort-like" place anymore.. As in, after our house was built, everyone seems to build another house on the block. Now, every tree on sight was cut down.. And the carpenters are feasting over their fruits.

Hell just broke loose.

Well, I just finished The Other Boleyn Girl. And its so pitiful. A tragedy.. And I don't know if I should be happy because the protagonist in the novel, Mary Boleyn, lived happily after her sister, Anne Boleyn's death.

But then again, I'm so excited to see the movie, especially because Eric Bana is King Henry VIII.

Bwahahahhahaha!!!

OK, I just dropped by, don't have much to say.. Just pray for me that I won't melt away in this summer heat.. Or that I won't be roasted like the chickens in Kenny Rogers'..

What a shame.

04-09-08

Its a sunny afternoon.. Today is April 9.
I wish it would rain.. Its scorching hot and I'm craving for anything cold...
Strawberry Sundae, Banana Split, Lemon Juice..

Ahhhhhh..
Gosh.. I'm crazy..

OK, I'm currently reading The Other Boleyn Girl..
Finally, 5 books! I'm so excited to read it.. I can't keep myself focused on reading my other 3 books, The Art of War, Dear John, Stainless Longganisa, ABNKKBSNPLA Ko?!, and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn..

Gosh, I realized that I'm too geeky to finish these books in only 2 weeks..
As I type this blog, I'm on page 523 out of 735 of the book.. Its an achievement, considering that I've started reading it yesterday, April 8. (Too geeky...)

OK, lets not drool over my geekyness...=)

Finally, after staring blankly on my bedroom ceiling for countless nights.....

I've decided what course I'm going to take in college..
Psychology.
Hahhahahhahahhahaha! I'm gonna be a psycho killer!!!
bwahahahahhah!
Well, to think of it.. Its a cool course.. You always have to think.. And thinking is a very entertaining activity...=)

I'm taking it to satisfy my dad's constant raving about me taking medicine, my undeniable love for literature and controversy and my curiosity on human mystery...=)

Perfect!!!!!!

It's just coincidence.. That Natalie Portman, who plays Anne Boleyn in the movie adaptation of the book I'm reading, has a degree on Psychology from Harvard University.. (Sweet....)

OK, I'll start compiling some of my trademarked philosophies...

1) Dreams are made with our eyes closed. That's why we blink, to be reminded of those dreams even we're awake.

2) If you have met someone that made you realize you are alone all this time, maybe that one person can keep you company...=)

3) You can't love someone forever. Love lasts for a long time because you fall in love everytime..=)

4) Honestly, no person on Earth is honest.

5) Love comes in small packages, it just looks big because it's wrapped again and again.

6) Imperfection is the best thing we have that makes the gods angry.

7) You can't know everything about something and something about everything.

8) A friend is someone that knows the song in your heart and sings it back to you when you have forgotten the words.

9) I know its hard to accept, but looks cannot be the basis of love.. Because you can't always adore him/her when the lights are out.

10) Seeing sharpens the eyes. Hearing sharpens the ears, Talking sharpens the tongue. Thinking sharpens the mind. Loving sharpens the heart. Holding sharpens the hands. Praying sharpens the SOUL.

That's enough for today!!!!!!!! Please tag...!
